yoyo lives on base chain, the Layer 2 that has been brought to you by Coinbase but acts as a separate entity (yoyo hasn’t been listed on Coinbase exchange, yet). The native token of base is ETH, the same ETH as you know and love (or hate), but living on the L2.
You can’t really PURCHASE yoyo right now, but you can SWAP your base ETH into yoyo, you do this via uniswap.
Bridging
If you have ETH that lives on the mainnet (L1) then you can do a bridge to base. Bridging will cost a little gas and takes about 1-5 minutes to complete. You can use the SAME address as you already use for your mainnet L1 Eth. Pretty much all wallets support multiple L2’s, including base.
Using uniswap
Once you have some base ETH (either via bridging or purchasing base ETH via your onramp like Moonpay or Ramp) you can swap to yoyo tokens.
