The native token of base is ETH, the same ETH as you know and love (or hate), but living on the L2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can&#8217;t really PURCHASE yoyo right now, but you can SWAP your base ETH into yoyo, you do this via uniswap. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bridging<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have ETH that lives on the mainnet (L1) then you can do a bridge to base. Bridging will cost a little gas and takes about 1-5 minutes to complete. You can use the SAME address as you already use for your mainnet L1 Eth. Pretty much all wallets support multiple L2&#8217;s, including base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/superbridge.app\/base\">https:\/\/superbridge.app\/base<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Using uniswap<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have some base ETH (either via bridging or purchasing base ETH via your onramp like Moonpay or Ramp) you can swap to yoyo tokens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/app.uniswap.org\/swap?chain=base\">https:\/\/app.uniswap.org\/swap?chain=base<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll need to connect your wallet to uniswap.
